What else would I write about for the letter M but my sweet and caring husband?

I could go into great detail about how wonderful my husband is, but I know that we are suppose to keep these short.  So, I will tell you of something recently that he has done for me that I really appreciated.

I love to host parties (as I mentioned on Monday).  It does take a lot of prep work to get ready for functions like these – the house needs to be cleaned, the food needs to be cooked, etc.  I’m not typically a person who asks for help.  It’s something I am working to change about myself, but delegation is never something I’ve been good at doing in the past.

However, this past Easter, Michael was there every step of the way.  I did all of the baking and cooking, but he helped clean the house, vacuum, dust and tidy.  When the guests arrived, he made sure their glasses were never empty and helped get all the food on the table.  However, the best thing he did was brag on me the entire time.  He complimented the food, the desserts and all of the things I did that day.  It made me smile and blush.

He’s such a perfect support to me, and I don’t know where I would be without him.  I am so blessed to have such a kind husband to help me when I need him and be there for me no matter what.  🙂

  1. It’s guys like your Michael that make other husbands look bad. Not me because I do a lot of stuff to help my wife and usually fix all her meals for her. But I’m just saying.
Really though, husbands and wives need to serve and love one another. It makes for a harmonious household and a good relationship.
