Trip to Town

We live in the DFW (Dallas-Fort Worth) area, which is absolutely huge.  I mean, we have lived here for over four years and there are still many places we haven’t been.  I’ve also become a bit of a homebody, so truthfully, that’s part of the reason.  But whenever we are looking for a cheap day date or evening date, we still have so many options we haven’t explored!

One of those places is the Dallas Farmers Market.  We have farmers markets much closer to our house, but this one is a bit bigger (understandably).  There were different sheds for local farmers, more commercialized but organic produce, nurseries, and specialty shops (places that used organic or local products to make delicious things, like pies or even little restaurants).

This was my favorite display.  It was so colorful.  I couldn’t take my eyes away from it.

We had a great time, and we even bought some pears!  This was actually a scouting mission, as we hope to take family next month into Dallas, and thought this would be a neat place.  We can’t wait to come back!

    1. Yes, I love all kinds of Farmer’s Markets, especially all of the eclectic stuff you can find other than the fresh food (which is good too!). I am not going to lie, the DFW area is probably my favorite place on earth to live. 🙂
