What to write, what to write

Every time I sit down to write a blog, I have been coming up empty lately.  It’s not for lack of thought.  It’s more that there are a hundred little thoughts running around my head that I can’t seem to catch just one and make it sound coherent.  Ever felt that way?

I would love to say that the reason I’ve been so absent is because I’ve been so busy.  Sadly, since the illness from Hades visited, I haven’t quite gotten back to 100%.  It doesn’t help that the moment I feel the least amount of energy, I go running or take on projects that extinguish that energy in just a few hours.  Then, I’m no good to anyone for the rest of the day.  Luckily, my sweet husband has been picking up the slack.  I love him so much.

I did complete a project this week, but I can’t share it until much later this year. Let’s just say that it included my favorite past time of planning and scheduling.  And when I do share it, I think I’m going to do a whole series.  This girl is super excited about that.  🙂

I also have a few blog posts I’ve been working on that I plan to share at least within the next week.  They just need a little more simmering before they are done.  My ability to make things coherent has taken quite a fall, which probably means I need more rest.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I’m still alive, mostly.  Hope you all are having a great week!

  1. I have days like that too, when all my thoughts are jumbled so I can’t make sense of them… never mind blogging and trying to get other people to make sense of them. 😉 Hope you’re back to your bloggy self soon! But don’t force it! Sometimes, the best writing comes when you step back and wait for the right time to come. 🙂
