Did you know that today is Dog Day?  You wouldn’t believe the amount of “days” set aside for animals, and especially rescue animals, but I’m not complaining!  I love my precious pups!

We wanted to take a walk, but unfortunately when we got back from church, it was thundering and lightning.  Our dogs have a little bit of storm anxiety, and they handle it in different ways.

Poor Loco is a snuggler when it comes to storms.

Jerzee, on the other hand, likes to work out her stress by playing with her Kong.  I grabbed her for a quick picture between throws.

If you have a canine or two, be sure to give them an extra scratch behind the ears today!
