Alzheimer Walk

The month of September is Alzheimer Awareness Month.  5.4 million Americans live with the disease, and they all aren’t as old as you think.  Most are above the age of 40, but the youngest case was 27.  Alzheimer’s disease has affected both of our families, so we take part in an Alzheimer Walk fundraiser each year.

This is our third year to walk, but this year Michael’s parents were able to get involved as well.  We were so happy that they could come for the visit!

That’s awesome that you did that! I want to take part in a Alzheimer Walk next year, because it also affects my family and is a horrible disease. Here’s to finding a cure!!
