Christmas Travel – Airline Edition

Every year, my husband and I fly to my company’s headquarters for the annual Christmas party.  It’s the one time of the year that I am guaranteed to see my coworkers in person (and one just announced she’s pregnant with baby #2!).

Organizing for a shorter flight is quite different from the longer flights (like to Europe).  I keep some things the same, but since the flight is much shorter, I probably won’t bring my eye shades or ear plugs.  Here’s what I brought for the short flight this past weekend:

Jerzee definitely missed us when we were gone!

We left later on Friday night, so I knew I would be going to bed as soon as I got to our destination from the airport.  The outfit on a shorter flight should depend on what you are planning to do once you get there.  Since it was a late flight, we were going to be headed to bed soon after arriving, so I just wore some comfy yoga pants and a t-shirt

When we got back, we were going straight to our small group.  That is why I chose jeans on the ride back instead of yoga pants, with a slightly more festive Christmas-colored shirt.

One of my favorite magazines, plus the book I’m reading and my journal!

Even though the flight was short, I still like to bring some fun distractions to pass the time.

What do you bring with you on a quick flight?
