Now that we are back from our travels, here is recap on our adventures.
On our way to our first family destination, we stopped at Cracker Barrel. This was a family tradition when I was a kid that we have inherited into our family.
The next day, we arrived at my parents’ house. I helped mom decorate the tree (another family tradition)!
Sunday lunch, we ate dinner with my aunt and uncle. We hadn’t seen them in person in over a year, so it was great to catch up.
Then we went to a local college for their spectacular light display (and roasted marshmallows too!)
Monday (Christmas Eve!), we had lunch at my grandparents’ house.
Then, that evening, we celebrated another tradition of opening one gift – which is always fun PJs.
Then, it was Christmas Day! Michael and I wore our pajamas as we opened gifts with my parents and brother.
We had Belgian waffles and Keureg drinks.
Then, on Thursday, we stayed with Michael’s brother, Christopher and his wife, Rach! His parents were there as well, and we all gathered for the family Christmas photo (picture courtesy of my sister-in-law, Rach).
I snapped a shot of our photographer as she was setting up.
We had such a great time with all of our family!
