There is this local organization called Mission Alive.  Michael and I aren’t apart of this group, necessarily, but they have been a key ingredient to helping our missionary in Canada with church planting.  Here is a link to their website.

Our first experience with this organization, other than with our missionary, was a meeting that we attended to talk about the future of the church.  I mentioned it in a blog post last year here.

Well, last week, we were honored to be invited to a dinner that celebrated the amazing things that God is doing in the lives of the people connected to Mission Alive.  We listened to stories from different church planters and leaders about how God and Mission Alive have positively influenced their growth.

This also included a brief talk by our missionary, Kevin, from Canada!  He’s a pretty amazing guy, who works in the inner city

Anyway, it was an amazing night with an amazing group of people.  I can’t wait to see what is in store for them in 2013!
