So how was your week in the television world?
I have to say, Once Upon a Time redeemed itself for me a bit this week, however I already know that Emma and Hook are going to hook up (sorry, I couldn’t help it), which of course will create a triangle of some sort when they find out Neil is still alive. I am remaining on the fence about the show this week, although I see hope on the horizon. Once Upon a Time in Wonderland is still a bit cheesy (the mock turtle scene was completely ridiculous), however, I think I’m starting to understand the characters a bit more. Alice is still kind of annoying to me, but I’m holding on for the moment.
Blacklist was really gruesome this week. I had to look away from the TV a couple times. I am excited that new light is being shed on the husband! Russian spies defecting and being killed! I just hope next episode doesn’t have to be that bloody and yucky.
Sleepy Hollow didn’t have an episode this week. So there’s that.
Beauty and the Beast got annoying at the end of this episode. This is exactly what I didn’t want to happen, the “will they, won’t they.” Sigh. As for the other teen shows, the twist at the end of Vampire Diaries will make for interesting future episodes. All I can say is that BB and TVD seem to really embrace the amnesia this season. As for The Originals, the writing isn’t superb, but I can’t leave New Orleans behind just yet.
I am still watching the other shows, but nothing really seems to be jumping out, good or bad on them. I am also catching up on episodes of Haven (I think this show could be wrapping up. I could be wrong, but I feel like it’s gone on longer than the writers really intended it to. Not that it’s a bad thing, just don’t want the writing to get tired). And I watched the first few episodes of Witches of East End on Lifetime (because it was on Hulu) and the closest description I could give it was it is kind of like trashy supernatural romance novel.
Grimm is suppose to come back this weekend, I believe, so I’m really looking forward to that. And I get to watch the spin off of Pretty Little Liars (as well as the Halloween episode of PLL) some time today, so that will be in next week’s recap. Was there anything I missed this week? Any surprises for you? Disappointments?
