Happy New Year! Like last year, I wanted to start off this year with a few goals to help focus on where I want to be at the end of the year. So, I made a video.
Originally I wanted to use a word to focus on during the year, but I couldn’t settle on just one! So, instead I went the traditional route of the goal making process, but limited those goals to just three. But I did use one word to describe each goal, so maybe next year I can work towards whittling it down to one.
So to recap the video, my three words are Balance, Energy, and Share.
Balance – organize the rhythms in my life so that I am healthier and have the time and space to do the things important to me. The first rhythm I will work on is my night time routine. I want to work on both time and space organization.
Energy – Go on a hike once a month. We have several trails around our area that we haven’t explored. I also added to this goal that I will walk 5 times a week with my husband or with my dogs. I didn’t mention it in the video, but I will make these walks at least 20-30 mins long.
Share – Make two videos a month. These might be videos about my goals, or they might be just follow me around kind of videos. I’m going to give myself some space to figure out what I want to do with this goal.
I’m so excited to see where this year will take me. I know God will do great things!
