December Favorites

I know I’m doing this a week early, but next week is going to be crazy.  I’m actually going to take the week off from blogging and videos for the next week so that I can spend time with family and my husband.  We are celebrating our ninth anniversary next week as well, which I’m looking forward to.  So, this will be the last blog post this year!

I also wanted to let you know that I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.  These are all things I have used personally.  I wouldn’t recommend something I haven’t tried myself.  Thanks!

Clothing and Accessories

The weather outside is finally cold, so now I can slip into these!  These are BOBs from Skechers Women’s Keepsakes Delight Slipper.  I practically live in these shoes during the winter.  They are so cozy and comfortable.  I think I got these a couple years ago for Christmas, but I wear them every year during the winter months.  Sometimes, I will even wear them to the grocery store.  With long jeans, they just look like regular shoes!  You can get them on Amazon here: http://amzn.to/2h6Jg9W

003Also, I’ve been wearing a lot more jewelry this month, and I’ve really been loving this bracelet that Michael got me a while ago.  It’s by Georgie Designs on Etsy.  It’s absolutely gorgeous and simple, which is why I like it so much.  You can add more charms to the bracelet if you want to.  Also, if it needs to be resized, she’s willing to resize it for you!  She also makes a lot of other gorgeous bracelets, so her shop is worth checking out. (By the way, I’m not sponsored by her.  I just love her stuff and thought I would send some love back her way).

App

I have been doing yoga for years now.  I had to stop during my pregnancy because of my pubic symphysis disorder, but I’m finally able to incorporate yoga back into my daily rhythm.  Usually, I use YouTube to find practices that fit into my schedule, but I found an app that creates great practices too!

The down dog app creates practices for anywhere from 15 to 35 minutes and from beginner to advanced.  Along with the practice, they also include music that is set to the pace of the yoga sequence.  And I really enjoyed doing these practices.  You can also choose the sequence types, from full practice, restorative, and on your feet.  You can customize it even more if you become a member, which I haven’t done yet, but it’s only 3.99 a month.  So I may be doing that in the new year.  You can find out more at: https://www.downdogapp.com/

Health and Beauty

I have had thick hair that has gone from straight to wavy over the last few years, but after my pregnancy loss in August, I’ve had nothing but frizzy hair that seems to fall out a lot.  I’ve tried a lot of shampoos on the market, but then I got a coupon for Garnier’s Whole Blends.  I tried it for the first time at Thanksgiving, and goodness what a difference! My hair has regained it’s softness and it has been a lot easier to manage.  Of course, I’ve also been allowing my hair to air dry a lot more, and I have been using hair bands that are easier on my hair, but I have also noticed a lot less hair falling out as well.  Plus, it smells amazing.  You can find more about it here: http://amzn.to/2i6uzFP

In addition to the shampoo and conditioner, I’ve fallen back in love with It’s a 10 leave-in product.  I used to use this all the time.  It’s a bit on the pricey side for me (although it’s not that expensive), but it lasts for at least 3-4 months at a time, depending on what size you buy.  I buy the 10 oz.  I’m not exaggerating when I say the product is magic.  And I’ve tried cheaper alternatives, only to keep coming back to this.  You can find it here: http://amzn.to/2hWq3Gt

Those are all of the things I have been loving this month. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.  See you in the new year!

What are some things you have been loving this month?  It doesn’t have to be in the above categories, either!  I love trying out new things!
