In Case You Missed It: Saturday Summary

This month, I’m trying to write every day on the blog.  So, I thought I would use Saturdays to take a look back over my week in writing.

I don’t know if it’s the new year, or the fact that we are trying to start a family again, but I have been dealing with a lot of anxiety and depression, as well as comparing myself to others and feeling like I don’t fit in.  On Sunday, I shared a mantra that I tell myself when I am in the dark moments that help refocus myself and get me back on track again.

I also recapped my trip to the Trains at Northpark as well as getting back into the volunteering rhythm at the SPCA and my trip to the Magnolia Market in Waco we made at the very end of last year.

Since January is Get Organized month, I shared a simple way to keep all of the week’s recipes and papers together in one place.

And finally, I shared my first thoughts on the Google Home we added to our house this month.  I shared some pros and cons with its capabilities as an assistant.

What have been some of your highlights this week?

  1. I love this idea! It really brings the whole week into a full picture perspective. I’ve been feeling the same as you since the New Year, so I get that… But I’m sending so many prayers for you as you keep trying for another baby ❤ Hope this weekend is beautiful for you!
