This month is National Oatmeal Month, so I thought I would try to make overnight oats. I thought they were going to be harder to make than regular oatmeal, but what I found out was that it’s really no different! All of the ratios were the same, according to the recipe I got from Hurry The Food Up.
But the reasons I liked the overnight option were 1) overnight oats are flexible as both a hot cereal or cold cereal in the morning (cause you can warm it up the morning you use it), and 2) it’s better than the cold cereal you buy off the shelf because you can control the ingredients, namely the sugar content, that you add.
