Here’s a little check in on my Summer Goals since it’s already August!
Spiritually, I am going to host an online Bible study.
I completed this study towards the end of this month. I really enjoyed all of the conversations, and I enjoyed the fact we got to dig in deep into the Bible.
For health, I am going to work up to walking three miles at least four times a week.
I think I might change this goal to two miles five or six days a week, but I’m not sure yet. With the Texas summer heat, even if I get out in the morning, it still gets super hot super early. So, I’m thinking more days but less distance might work better until the cooler air returns.
For home, I want to accomplish three projects.
Technically, I did finish a project this month by turning my office into a library, though it wasn’t one of the projects I intended to complete this summer. But, it was a pretty major project, so I’m going to count it. I have two little projects still on the back burner, but this will give me an option to do both or either one in August.
For online/writing, I’m going to write every day.
So far, so good!
And finally, the bonus goal, I want to complete nine books.
I am still behind, but I’m catching up pretty quickly. I’m reading an entire YA series which is six books to do a book review on the entire series (and I’m over half way done with book five). I already have two books to read in August, one of them being a graphic novel, so if I can find one more to read, I will be done!
