A healthy child would be perfect! I think those of us who struggled to have a healthy child really do understand that if its a boy or a girl really doesn’t matter at all.
Yea, I’m sure I had opinions at the beginning of this journey, but they, along with a lot of other expectations and assumptions, are out the window. The simple things really are the most important to me.
Mr. MPB and I always wanted a boy, and we both made no secrete of it early on. In fact, it was a joke that we’d end up with girls simply because of how much we wanted a boy. Then, after our first loss we truly just wanted a healthy baby, and I will forever be thankful for our healthy baby. It’s just a bonus that he’s a boy. 🙂
